Creche

A crèche or day care facility offers supervised play for especially babies and young toddlers. The staff may have certificates in early childhood development.

There will be toys and there will be fun, and your child’s needs will be taken care of with meals, snacks, naps, changing times… and some even do potty training at a set age (though there is much debate around this, as many believe that potty training when children are ready is more successful)

Nursery

Our Nursery Program is a child-centred environment in which children are encouraged to explore, experiment, create, imagine, interact and ultimately to learn through the medium of play. Our experienced staff will encourage your toddler’s curiosity as well as promoting their social, emotional and physical development. At this stage in their development children start to participate in activities for longer periods of time, such as listening to stories, playing games and taking part in arts and crafts. Through stories, children learn to appreciate language, gain new vocabulary, and learn to use new words and concepts. Simple songs and games are an important introductions to speech patterns, sensory motor skills, development and movement skills
